August Happenings

Each week many of the wineries offer live music to complement their delicious wines. A personal favorite of mine is to sit with friends in the atmosphere of live music, laughter, and good drink.

Through the month of August, you can find live music each Thursday night at Six Mile Creek Vineyards from 6 to 8pm. Lucas Vineyards also has live music and a food truck on Thursdays through August 9th, from 6-8:30pm. Americana Vineyards and Buttonwood Grove Winery both offer live entertainment and food on Friday nights, from 6 to 8pm and 7 to 10pm, respectively.  The fun certainly doesn’t stop there! Thirsty Owl Wine Company has a band come in every Saturday from 1 to 4pm while they serve delicious lunch from the Bistro. Buttonwood Grove has more music from 1:30 to 4:30 and again at Americana from 6 to 8pm. Closing out the weekend, Americana offers music and eats from 4 to 6pm, Hosmer Winery offers music and mimosas from noon to 3pm, and back at Six Mile Creek from 2 to 4pm on Sunday.

The entertainment along the wine trail certainly isn’t limited to just live music! Take a look at the August calendar below to see what other fun things you can do while staying in the area.

Each weekend, Varick Winery & Vineyard offers “Spud Chuckin” during regular tasting room hours. Take out some aggression, or just see who can launch the farthest potato!
