DESCRIPTION:The 1st Annual Farmers’ Market at Cottage Lawn is set to open
  June 2nd on the grounds of the Madison County Historical Society located 
 at 435 Main Street in Oneida. The historical society’s headquarters\, Co
 ttage Lawn\, built in 1849\, embodies the picturesque Gothic Revival archi
 tectural style and provides for the perfect backdrop for the market. Cotta
 ge Lawn is located on Main Street (Route 46) a mile North of Route 5 in th
 e City of Oneida and is centrally located to neighboring towns within a 20
  mile radius.\nThe market\, open every Tuesday from 3- 7 pm and set to run
  through October 20\, will feature fresh local\, seasonal produce\, pastur
 ed meats\, cheeses\, dog treats\, honey\, maple products\, soaps\, wood fi
 red breads\, herbs\, coffee beans\, baked goods and much more from 21 vend
 ors.\nMarlene Parlow\, Trustee of Madison County Historical Society\, orga
 nizer of the market\, and one of its vendors\, is very excited to introduc
 e the farmers’ market to the community on behalf of the board of trustee
 s of the historical society.  The market’s motto is “where families a
 nd farmers meet” that offers a great opportunity for a conversation betw
 een families and farmers to learn where our food comes from and how we can
  strive to make healthy food choices.\nThe following are participating in 
 the market: Heartstone Bakery from Alambria Springs Farm\; Cakes and Other
  Goodies\; Catering with Care\; Cooks Maple Products\; Creative Shepherd F
 arm\; Drover Hill Farm\; Farm Fairhaven\; FoJo Beans\; Food and Ferment\; 
 Foothill Hops Farm\; Full Circle Feed Doggy Treats\; Hunka Foods\; Hive Bo
 tanicals\; Kriemhild Dairy\; Happy Pasture Farm\; Hippy Love Granola\; Pri
 mo and Mary’s Heritage Products (Salsa &amp\; Pesto)\;Rainforest Spice C
 ompany\; Red Fox Jams and Jellies\; Sweet Indulgence Bakery\; Hughes Farm 
 Produce and Fruit.\nThere are many exciting things planned throughout the 
 19 week run of the market from: cooking demonstrations\; game of croquet o
