SUMMARY:Syracuse Vocal Ensemble- Elements
DESCRIPTION:thereThis beautiful world is shaped by four elemental forces—
 earth\, wind\, fire\, and water—each powerful\, transformative\, and ess
ential. The Syracuse Vocal Ensemble invites you to experience their evocat
ive program\, “Braving the Elements\,” a musical journey that explores
these forces both literally and metaphorically through masterworks spanni
ng the Renaissance to the present day.\nEarth resounds in Frank Ticheli’
s Earth Song\, grounding us in strength and renewal. Water shimmers in Sam
uel Barber’s lyrical To Be Sung on the Water. The vitality of wind comes
alive in Claudio Monteverdi’s Zefiro Torna and in Viento Norte by Carlo
s Guastavino. Fire blazes in Katerina Gimon’s electrifying choral settin
g\, igniting the program with rhythmic intensity and bold color.\nPerforma
nces will take place:\n•	Saturday\, March 13 at 3:00 PM at First Presbyt
erian Church of Baldwinsville\n•	Sunday\, March 14 at 3:30 PM at May Mem
orial Unitarian Universalist Society\nTickets are $15 for adults\; admissi
on is free for those under 18. We gladly accept cash\, check\, Venmo\, and
PayPal at the door.\nThis project is made possible through the Tier Three
Project Support program\, a regrant initiative of the County of Onondaga\
, with the support of the County Executive and administered by CNY Arts.\n
Join us as we brave the elements—and discover their power through song.\
