Andrew Cuomo “For President”
Recently I attended a “Get Out The Vote” (GOTV) event at the Ironworkers local on West Genesee Street in Syracuse. The Governor was the Keynote Speaker. It turned out to be an unusually extraordinary occasion. The Governor gave a speech the likes of which I have not heard since John F. Kennedy. He is surely his Fathers son. You may recall his Dad’s “Tale of two Cities” convention speech of 1984. Greatness was glaring. And greatness was glaring in this short speech in a Union Hall in Syracuse, New York just a week ago. I also witnessed what we all need to see so much up close. Sincerity. Not just words, but sincere words. I seldom get chills, but I had them this day and Andrew Cuomo went from Gubernatorial to Presidential with a sincere hope on my part, that others research and follow this man and learn as I have that greatness is in our midst.
This was a speech that you made you feel American. A speech full of the hallowed messages of our founding. Patriotism, character, strength, energy, and compassion are the thoughts those in attendance experienced that day. If you’re not on board take some time and research this Governor. Pay attention to his heart as he speaks so eloquently and you see the match. Then you will know. He believes in right and stands up to power. It is hard for us to see truth as our media is very susceptible to influences connived by power. When we hear negatives’, it is important that we research sources and seek the truth as best as it can be found. In this era of cherry- picked sound bites context is important. On important issues, look things up. When you research Andrew Cuomo, you may well be surprised that behind negatives you will find real reasons and justifications. And when you look at his achievements and plans you may be very pleasantly surprised when you find success of caliber and scope, in New York State that can only be achieved by that rare breed that both understands Government and loves the people. If you are interested google: “What projects in Central New York were supported by the NY Governor?” New York State has experienced a renaissance of vast improvement due to the Governors expertise and energy and deep care for our well-being. I am trying to let you know that after seeing the Governor several times and at several events and listening to his words and heart I offer to you that he demonstrates the leadership that hallows halls and honors the price we pay for freedom.
The Hotel Syracuse, the Amphitheater and the New York State Fair and its fabulous improvements are examples of what have taken place throughout Central New York and New York State. Examples abound from these to Water Quality Protection. Pre-emptive protection that few know about, so we never become
Flint. This has been funded as have numerous other measures that clearly show a rare caring leader is in our midst. That rare breed that has been absent, and so desperately needed in this great land. As the Governor moves forward this column will be following carefully.
It is with great regret that due to election timing, I have to interrupt this article with a truth about one of his opponents. Stephanie Miner. The local media allowed much cruelty to take place in City Hall with very little reporting. The newspaper is vastly under her influence as is other local media outlets. As CNN is left and FOX is right, the local media as well reports information in a way that supports owner agenda. Especially in local politics, neutrality and free press (truth not filtered by executives and owners) is not the standard. Grave un-American damage took place in City Hall in a way that shamed the American way. America is based on the freedom to disagree and then to say so. The story was not even recognized.
As we all see so often, effectiveness is lost in Government as Politicians, rather than learning from each other and seeking common ground, demean each other for opposing view. To do so within your own party is repulsively un-American. This article will describe a little about how Stephanie Miners power was attained and how it worked. I do this to show how she was able to influence in ways that ruined or gravely damaged the careers of fellow Democrats. This included several Common Councilors and Department heads; Democrats that suggested course disagreeing with her. Please note that what was done to them was widespread and stories abound throughout the party and the city. Investigative reporting seems to be a thing of the past. It certainly is not in Syracuse.
My view is not harsh. It is genuinely deserved. The cold unnecessary damage in Miners wake strongly shows it will not end until she is no longer in position to damage human life. I seek justice to protect others. She seeks revenge. A glaring example is the race for Governor. Stephanie Miner knows she will lose. But she does hold grudges. The Governor is a wise man and saw through her long ago. She knows this and hopes to be a spoiler. Narcissism prevents her from realizing she is not relevant in this race. The massive conniving she did in the local Democratic Party and much local media is all she has. Both need to take a hard look at how their susceptibilities are breached.
Vendetta is not my way. I write this column for others that without doubt will be gravely harmed in the future if this woman is not stopped. When cruelty enters high office, even babies and parents do not matter. Many have suffered greatly, because of the greed, narcissism and cruelty of Stephanie Miner.
In the process of pursuing efforts in various campaigns to remove her from office I found that I was far from alone. I can’t name names or tell the stories as those that paid very dearly are largely professionals that she would surely go after at every opportunity if I mentioned them. Those that would not give up their sworn oath to the people and swear allegiance to her were gravely damaged. She instantly initiated strategies to remove anyone from their office or job when they disagreed and was often successful. She left lives shattered and a lessor city by depriving us of principled leaders. People doing what they were supposed to.
I can briefly describe my story. It is a glaring example of heartlessness and cruelty with a complete disregard for the lives that would be ruined:
7 years ago I was on the top of the world. I was in my mid 60’s and through many years of hard work had found a way to secure my future and that of my son. I had worked over 14 years managing Century Transportation at the airport. The company was highly efficient and successful and had received several awards from the Chamber of Commerce. We had strong approval by 7 of 8 Common Councilors, the Commissioner of Aviation for 8 years, every Airline Manger and the preceding Mayor. Our reputation was one of efficiency and unbelievable capability. (hundreds of people from diverted planes to Boston or New York City at 3am in a snowstorm happened several times.) The owner, myself and his son were very proud of this elite team of the best drivers anywhere. Because of this intense support and clear harm to the airport, all of her efforts were failing. So she staffed a 5-person committee with three recently promoted appointees that knew they would be ousted if they disagreed. The vote was 5 to 3 and her self-appointed legal department approved it. We lost this civilian company. 70 people affected. It was pure unfair and cruel wrong. After 14 years of hard work, she took my future. Without cause, without reason, without justice, without fairness. Her glaring willingness to satisfy greed and narcissism with cruelty ruined my hard-earned retirement. I am not alone. The city is riddled with recipients of Miner vengeance and cruelty.
It is hard for most of us to understand how power can be achieved and then maintained by those that do not belong. I will give you an idea of the Democratic Party Election Districts power framework. There are over a hundred committee members that are assigned areas. Each one has a different amount of power. Power is designated thru Gubernatorial elections. An individual’s voting power is based on the number of Gubernatorial votes in their election districts in a given election. For example, those in the 17th ward where voter turnout is high, may have several hundred votes (Such as Stephanie Miners Sister who has over 250 votes (more than anyone else). The more powerful, the more favored and thus amiable to un-patriotic choice. In contrast a committee member on the west or south side may have 12 votes. Thus one person has many times more power than another. If you are smart you can influence committee membership in several ways. Thus, with favor and influence, Miner was able to influence enough of the party to ruin others. The base for her support is the upper thresholds of the Democratic Party that she has favored greatly. Beware that supporting the party is not always supporting “right”. Be your own person.
There are enough favored Miner top party members, with tentacles ample to garner the support that reaches the approximate 2000 that has insured Miner victories. That is enough to overcome the voter apathy that is clear in each election where she has participated. I never understood any of this until Trump. He has shown that there are far too many willing to sacrifice right and the Pubic good for self-interest. She is the female personification of this man, with that horrible character flaw of having a sense of cruelty and being ok with it. My Son’s future is as unimportant to her as Spanish Children are to Trump.
As with Trump, when her cruel tendencies became clear they were accepted among her favored. An obsequious group of favored beneficiaries of a cruel and talented woman. Among this group your interests were not even on the scale. If they were you would be living in a much-improved city, and Pat Hogan or Juanita Williams would be Mayor.
