Kyle and I went to Dominick’s on a snowy December evening. Although it was cold outside it was warm inside, both in temperature and in atmosphere! While we waited to be seated we couldn’t help but stare at the delicious display of pies, cookies and pastries. We were promptly seated at a cozy booth and began our dining experience. We began our meal with an order of the Golden Fried Calamari, hand breaded, lightly fried to a golden crisp and served with a side of delicious
marinara sauce. We chatted about the delicious calamari while eating our freshly baked bread and decided that we were both in the mood for seafood, something Dominick’s does very, very well! For our entrees I ordered the Broiled Seafood Platter, a fantastic selection of broiled lobster tail, sea scallops, and fresh haddock served with hot drawn butter. As always, the seafood was broiled to a flavorful perfection that was only accentuated by the drawn butter and freshly squeezed lemon. Kyle ordered the Scallop Special, a gigantic pasta dish filled to the brim with sautéed sea scallops, broccoli, and mushrooms in butter and garlic sauce served over linguini. One bite and you will understand why this is one of their specials, the dish is absolutely perfect! Although we were stuffed, and had a bunch of to-go boxes, we couldn’t pass on those wonderful desserts. We decided on a cannoli, with a dipped chocolate shell. The creamy, cheesy filling and the chocolatey shell was the perfect way to end the perfect meal.
