Euclid Family Restaurant

is no denying that another winter is upon us in Central New York and now is the perfect time to indulge in comfort food that will keep you warm!
do-5There is no better place in town to get comfort food than The Euclid. The Euclid is located at 4285 Route 31 in Clay (the purple building at the corner of Route 31 a
nd Morgan Rd.) and the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 9:30 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm, and Sunday from noon to 8 pm and the bar is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 1:30 am and on Sunday from noon to midnight. The Euclid is steep in Central New York history; it is the oldest establishment in the town that is still
being used for its original intended purpose that is, serving delicious food to hungry patrons! The structure that we know and love as “The Euclid” was built in 1853, replacing the original building (that is now the parking lot), and housed and fed travelers and locals alike. Over the years the Euclid has undergone several rebuilds and facelifts, and no longer operates as an inn. The Euclid as we know it has been a favorite of Central New Yorkers for over 30 years, stop in today and taste the deliciousness that has stood the test of time.
do-4There is truly something for everyone on the menu at the Euclid. They do comfort food better than anyone in town! Be sure to try the new ½ pound Black Angus burger for only $8.99! Speaking of specials, if you are looking to really get the most for your money at the Euclid look no further than their list of delicious daily specials! On Monday enjoy a scrumptious Pork Dinner and on Tuesdays they have two specials to choose from: the huge 24 oz. Cattleman’s Cut Prime Rib or homemade Chicken and Biscuits. The Wednesday specials are all you can eat! Choose between the mouthwatering All You Can Eat Southern Fried Chicken which includes French fries and coleslaw or hot veggies and the All You Can Eat Sauerbraten served with red cabbage and egg noodles. If you are a pasta lover then you certainly don’t want to miss Thursday’s special of all you can eat pasta! Choose from spaghetti or shells served with your choice of two meatballs or one sausage. Head to the Euclid on Friday if you are a fish fanatic or observing Lent (I know, it’s not even Christmas yet!) and delight your taste buds with the Euclid Fish Fry served with French fries and coleslaw. They also have two Sunday specials; choose from All You Can Eat Sauerbraten served with red cabbage and egg noodles or Chicken and Biscuits. One of the most popular specials is the slow roasted certified beef prime rib of beef is roasted to perfection every day at the Euclid. Pick from the 9 oz. house cut, the 12 oz. queen cut, or the 16 oz. king cut

do-3My husband and I went to the Euclid on a chilly Saturday after our first round of Christmas
shopping. It was right after the weather change from summer to winter and comfort food sounded incredible! We began our meal with an order of the Euclid Fried Combo (served mountain high with fried mushrooms, cheese sticks chicken fingers, and onion rings with all sorts of dipping sauces) and the Euclid Style Potato Skins, skin on sliced potatoes, topped with cheddar cheese and bacon bits, served in a dish with a side of sour cream. These potato skins are like no other, not your traditional potato skins by any means, and our favorite appetizer every time we stop by! When we finished, our friendly waitress brought out our huge dinner salads (both with Italian and crumbly bleu) and warm bread. For our entrees we usually try to order different items when I’m writing this article but honestly, we both love prime rib and the Euclid does prime rib better than anyone else in town! I ordered the queen cut, and Kyle had the King cut. Our entrees were soon delivered to our table and were tender and cooked to perfection (rare, as we always order it!) and served with flavorful au jus and perfectly seasoned steak fries. Fun fact: the Euclid serves prime rib every night since it is difficult to get
a rare cut most places during the week! We enjoyed every bite of our meals and left with full bellies and a doggie bag!

The Euclid is also happy to accommodate takeout orders! They have their full menu online so check out their website at www.euclidrestaurant.com. Give them a call at 622-2750, place your order and they will have it ready for you to pick up! The Euclid is also the perfect place to hold your upcoming event or party. They have two rooms available to meet your needs, a small room for intimate parties and showers that can hold up to 35 guests, and a larger room that can accommodate 100 of your closest friends and family members! They have menus for lunch and dinner banquets and for every price range! Call today to book your upcoming event!

The Euclid is the perfect place to stop to grab a nice, amazingly priced meal. Kid’s 10 and under can choose from the “Kiddie Korner” with complete meals starting at just $4.95 and they proudly serve a senior citizen menu to guests 65 and older. With these incredible prices the whole family can dine without breaking the bank. They also decorate for the Holidays, adding to the charming, homey feel! Stop by after shopping at Great Northern or the stores on 31; skip the chains and eat local! Stop by the Euclid today, your belly and your wallet will thank you!do-6
