On the weekend of July 10-12, come for a taste adventure in our culinary voyage through Arabic cuisine! St. Elias Church’s 86th Annual Middle Eastern Cultural Festival attracts your appetite with genuine Arabic dishes like the grilled to perfection Shish Kebobs, the blend of choice flavors of the Chicken and Beef Shawarma, the savory lemony Grapeleaves and Taboulie, plus other popular plates! Scoop up creamy Hummus in fresh pita bread and save room for the syrupy-sweet Baklawa and Zalaby! It’s a menu full of Arabic food favorites!

There will be live Arabic music throughout the weekend, and the popular St. Elias Debkeh Dancers will bring the crowd to its feet and make ‘em want to jump in and join ‘em! The Souk Marketplace inside the church hall will feature a variety Middle Eastern giftware, religious tokens and fascinating reads, the church’s own Arabic cookbooks, along with a variety of musical CDs. There’s even a playground for the kids to enjoy!

Onondaga Hill will be where all the action is on the weekend of July 10th! So come, treat your taste buds to this showcase of the Arabic culture that has been a Syracuse tradition for 86 years! There’s FREE parking and FREE admission! “Ah’lan wa sa’lan!”… Welcome!
