Ovations at the Empire Room
Hey Central New York- the Empire Room is BACK and better than ever! The Empire Room at the New York State Fair Grounds is here to accommodate all of your catering and event needs! Since last year the Empire Room has been operated by Ovations, a multination and nationally ranked food service company, with a focus on Fresh. Fresh menus, fresh management and fresh ideas, because Fresh is best! 
The Empire Room is beautiful inside and out. It boasts a full service wraparound bar that can seat 60 and a beautiful patio with an outdoor grill and fire pit. They can comfortably accommodate parties from 50 to 275 at the Empire Room and even larger parties depending on the needs of the customers.
The Empire Room is the perfect venue for your upcoming event including corporate meetings, class reunions, graduation parties, birthday and anniversary parties and showers. At The Empire Room everything is customizable to meet the needs of the customers. You can choose to have your event inside, outside, or both. The menu can be customized to meet your needs, breakfast, lunch, dinner and buffet style, plated and served, or 
stations! They are happy to make your event exactly as you envisioned and they can work within any budget. Ovations also has the ability to cater to other rooms (rented independently) on the Fair Ground Property.
If you are planning a wedding you know how quickly expenses can add up. It’s hard to find a beautiful venue and great food without spending a fortune. I am pleased to announce that you actually can have both at the Empire Room. Wedding packages start at just $31.95 per person and include a free champagne toast (and grape juice for kids)! This specular buffet dinner includes a choice of two meat entrees, a pasta dish, two fresh salads, four accompaniments (potatoes, rice, and vegetables) and bread. This price also includes coffee 
service and cake cutting. They have great prices on open bar with levels to suit every budget. They are also happy to customize a menu to make sure you get everything you want for your special day. There are still dates available for the 2015 wedding season!
Anyone can see that The Empire room is a beautiful venue but what they can’t see is that the kitchen is equally as impressive. Since Ovations has taken control of operation the entire kitchen has been remodeled and upgraded with all new, state of the art cooking and catering equipment. At The Empire Room they focus on using New York State products including cheese, Finger Lakes wine, and microbrew and craft beer! 
The Empire Room has been a success due to the dedication and determination of Executive Chef Bill Gokey. If you get the opportunity be sure to try the Chef’s special, Pasta Saltimbocca.
Ovations also operates other restaurants on the Fair Grounds, including those in the Center of Progress, Horticulture, and the Exhibit Center throughout the year, accommodating the various trade shows and expos at the Fair Grounds.
