Brae Loch not only offers delicious cuisine, they also offer a look back into days past.  When the Brae Loch originally opened its doors in 1946 it was not on the shores of Cazenovia Lake, instead it over looked Skaneateles Lake! Four years later the family that opened it, decided to move to picturesque Cazenovia! They bought the Historic William Burr Home, and converted it to an Inn and a Restaurant.  Their family tradition of warm and welcoming service and delicious cuisine is alive and well today, as the Brae Loch in is still owned and operated by the family original family that opened it decades ago (although they have expanded their staff to those they just consider family!) If traditions and flavors that have stood the test of time is appealing then the Brae Loch is your place!

Kyle and I headed to the Brae Loch on a sunny Thursday night and we decided to dine on the grassy patio.  The atmosphere was just perfect with the warm day fading into a calm and pleasant evening. When we decided to sit on the patio we were brought through the main dining area and past a beautiful buffet. Once we were seated we learned that in addition to their typical menu (that is served both inside and out) Brae Loch also boasts a phenomenal Thursday night Surf and Turf Buffet.  We decided it looked too good to pass up! With all you can eat crab cakes, steamed clams, prime rib, roast turkey, smoked salmon, fresh salad, a stunning display of fresh fruit and pasta you absolutely cannot go wrong! The meal was spectacular, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was top notch.  I also really loved that the patio is pet friendly so other diners were enjoying their meal with their well-behaved furry friends by their side!

Brae Loch also has live music Fridays and Saturdays all summer long. Swing by, enjoy a drink (maybe a glass of their Scotch because they have the largest selection around!) and listen to great live music.  Brae Loch is the perfect venue for your upcoming event.  They offer a banquet menu that is sure to satisfy your needs; everything from elegant sit-down dinners, to lavish buffets, to sophisticated stations and hors d’oeuvres parties.  They can accommodate parties of 10 to 200!
