Originally they were a workingman’s bar, where all guys from all of the industries in Central New York would come to cash their check and cut loose. Since then it has evolved into everyone’s favorite neighborhood bar, no matter what you do for work! It is just an all-around easy going place with a friendly atmosphere. At the Town Tavern it is hard to not have a good time, make new friends and see familiar faces. Come in Monday through Friday from 4-7pm and on Saturday from 3-6pm for happy hour with great food and drink specials.

You can always count on at least two things at Town Tavern, a friendly atmosphere and outstanding food! Stop in and try their famous Town Tavern shaved ribeye sandwich with the works, it is out of this world good. If wings are your favorite, they have 12 awesome flavors to choose from, all of the traditional flavors and others like Tangy Carolina, Sweet Red Chili, “Kicking” Bourbon Molasses, Boom Boom and Garlic Parmesan. Their food is so much better than you’ve come to expect from a bar! Stop in on Fridays for the fresh fish fry! For a special treat, they have sauerbraten on the third Thursday of every month. This sauerbraten is mouthwateringly delicious and is made from their top secret, old German recipe. Everyday favorites include their homemade 9 inch pizzas made with fresh dough, Redhook Ale beer battered shrimp Po-boy, and the Heart Attack Special (a Hoffman hotdog with cheese, and wrapped in bacon, then deep fried!)
