TRUMP A Pied Piper
Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei are on the scene. The last thing the world needs is an uninformed, recklessly impulsive American President. There are sound Patriotic reasons why to vote for Hillary Clinton, and Colleen Deacon for Congress. I have often wished there were a list of what Donald Trump has said in one place so that voters could get a fair taste of his character. You may remember Keith Olbermann from his MSNBC program a few years back. In the debut episode of his new “GQ” series, “The Closer”, Olbermann tallies the most outrageous of Donald Trump’s offenses. It is my hope to provide you with truth and good sense as best as I am able. I removed many of Olbermann’s offerings that I thought to be zealotry and added many of my own.
Few are more disappointed in our Government than I. American concepts have not been pursued in my lifetime. (which began in 1946) The American system has morphed into a system of rampant greed and manipulation by smart people serving themselves. 1% has half of the wealth. Their absurd wealth forced neglect of our people and neglect of our infrastructure. Once revered for our pursuit of human fairness, today 10’s of millions of us are impoverished puppets of greed. Government is absent the ability to guide. The system perpetuates followers. The entire legislative parade is out of step and there are no heroes, no Johnny’s willing to walk “in step” alone and build coalition. We elect them. They step into the parade fat and happy and complicit as the country withers into the 3rd world. Our Campaign Finance System has bought our leaders hearts and our country’s intent and all the devolving that followed. I completely understand the Trump phenomena. The problem is his hope is false, he is a Pied Piper. And it really is the lives of your kids that will pay.
Trump’s traits of unfairness, irrational sensitivity, an abnormal need for revenge, poor judgement, and a clear propensity for unnecessary dispassion are simply true.
He fails every measure for leading people. In his own business, harming others has been heartless. Trump and our Mayor Stephanie Miner – (Miner has the heartless character flaws of Leona Helmsley) are masters of deceit that have found their way into the big picture. Under a veneer of just what you want to hear and see lays a sense for revenge and a cruelty that defies all that is valued in leadership. I take no pleasure in pursuing Miner’s downfall from being in charge of other human beings, nor do I take pleasure in this column. Please note that influential family and wealth are not decency. Such people are ingenious at rewarding obsequious followers that offer a veneer of credibility. This has nothing to do with ideology or party. It is the dispassionate darkness in their hearts that give way to judgments that cause such grave danger to us all. This mix of dispassion and an ingenious ability to deceive is a recipe for grave human harm.
Trump has little geographic, or historic, or present international informed baseline.
There are wars and leaders and countries and vital histories he knows nothing about. As President his pursuits would have little depth. Posterity would not be his concern. He is not strong and smart as many perceive. He is impulsive and reckless and easily manipulated by staff and our enemies. (It will be his finger on the button, not Kellyanne Conway’s.) He has a need to respond to any attack. He warms to evil when it compliments him. Our enemies will play him like a fiddle as Putin has done. His major policy course is what has held us down for decades. That is the rich mans creed of deceit that does not work. He wants Tax cuts for the rich and trickledown economics. A theory that has proven to be trickle “up”. That is why 1% own half our wealth. A theory that brought us to the George Bush recession and the very brink of financial failure and depression. It took Clinton and Obama to bring us back from the grave financial failures of both Bush 1 and 2. The minimum wage already is an enslaving poverty wage. Trump wants to reduce the minimum wage and have massive labor at a literal slave wage. Fast food, retail workers etc. are already treading water and on food stamps. They have no dream.
Herewith in one place Mr. Olbermann’s and my reasons why to vote for Hillary Clinton and for Colleen Deacon for Congress, to assist Hillary in this Historic time: (You may google any matter you question as you take in the following) Herewith some thinking of this False Prophet:
Donald Trump has attacked Hillary as someone the 2nd Amendment people might want to do something about leaving the innuendo of assassination for every nut job on earth to consider; He did this again suggesting the “Secret Service disarm and see what happens to her”; He insulted and physically imitated and mocked a reporter with a life shattering handicap; He attacked a tortured war hero John McCain because he was shot down on his 23rd combat bombing mission deep in enemy territory; he called the Pope disgraceful; He insulted the Mother of a dead soldier who gave his life for us, while at the same time contrasting her with “Radical Islamic Terrorism”; He failed to protect or even pay countless contractors he hired in good faith on his projects showing no regard for large numbers of Americans or the life that stands alone; He called Rosie O’Donnell a Fat ass ugly pig; he has attacked Hillary as a bigot, brainwashed, unhinged, a monster and as the devil; he depicted her in a tweet with her photo, the Star of David and hundred dollars bills as the Most Corrupt Candidate ever suggesting Jews are corrupt; He attacked Hillary as someone whose religion “we don’t know anything about”—after he explained he had never asked God for forgiveness; He implied the President was a traitor; as being complicit in the Orlando terrorist attack; He attacked the President of the United States for having lower approval ratings than Vladimir Putin who governs his country under the threat of death for disagreement and controls polls; He said Putin was a stronger leader as if he should be admired for death and conquering; He finally said Obama was born in the U.S. after a 5 year mantra that he was not; He emphatically called Obama the founder of ISIS; He insulted Carly Fiorina for her looks; Hillary Clinton for her non-presidential “look”; Heidi Cruz for her appearance; Megyn Kelly for having “blood coming out of her wherever”; Mika Brzezinski as “crazy and very dumb,” “neurotic,” “not very bright.”; Bette Midler as having and ugly face and ugly body; He attacked the women who accused Roger Ailes of harassment; He attacked women who choose abortion – and said there should be punishments; He attacked Judge Gonzalo Curiel because he was of Mexican descent; he attacked Senator Elizabeth Warren over allegedly lying about her heritage to get into Harvard when she never went to Harvard; he attacked Senator Jeff Flake by saying he won’t be re-elected this year, when he isn’t up for election until 2018; He said Putin was not going into Ukraine (he did not know Crimea is part of Ukraine); He attacked U.S. troops in Iraq claiming they stole millions; he claimed Ted Cruz’s father was connected to the death of JFK; He accused Bill Clinton of rape on Sean Hannity’s show; He claims the National Enquirer is credible and should be respected; A 1990 Vanity Fair interview of his wife Ivana revealed he kept a copy of Hitler’s collected speeches in a cabinet near his bed; (I just learned this – very scary and makes much of this fit) He exaggerated rape, drugs and murder among Mexicans; He lied about opposing the war in Iraq, when there is a tape of him supporting it on the first anniversary of 9/11; In an interview it was revealed he asked his foreign-policy advisers three times in one hour why this country can’t use nuclear weapons, since we have them; In the same interview he was revealed to have not known what the “nuclear triad” is; He also said he is prepared to allow S. Korea and Japan to have the bomb; He lied about six million dollars in charitable donations to Veterans which he later scrambled to correct; His charity giving is routed through the Trump foundation which is funded by wealthy donors; Trump’s personal charity giving is trifling; He illegally used the Trump Foundation (other’s money – the IRS fined him 10%) to make a $25,000.00 campaign contribution to the Attorney General of Florida; She declined to investigate Trump University after the donation; He admits to buying Politicians throughout his career; He refused to show a harmless letter saying he is being audited (this may well be a lie); He lied about why he wouldn’t release his taxes, because he was being audited and proved this lie by saying he would release his taxes if Hillary Clinton released her e-mails; he lied about how much money his father gave him or helped him get; He lied about sending his private jet to ferry stranded U.S. Gulf War Marines; he lied about his business in Russia; In 2014 he said he met Putin and he could not have been nicer; in 2016 he said he never met Putin; he lied about offering child care to his employees, when it was child care for his hotel guests; he lied about “some people” wanting a moment of silence for the murderer of five Dallas policemen; He lied about seeing thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating 9/11; He lied about the Chicago police urging him to cancel a rally; he lied about the Chicago police saying they could solve crime there with “tough police tactics”; He lied saying he never said Japan should have nuclear weapons, (He did) What you have read here is at best “erratic”. Trump who brags about his primary consultant being himself, would be free to launch a civilization-ending nuclear war on his own any time he chose.
What he would do to the Supreme Court would be a disaster for gay rights and women’s rights and “Campaign Finance” which alone has set the downward spiral of our great land. This Campaign Finance system fostered this environment where around half of America is considering voting for Donald Trump. This is because the only other place America can go for answers is the 535 and that same “system” that bought their souls. We do need a savior. But not a reckless, self-centered uninformed Pied Piper…in a very dangerous and progressing nuclear age.
