Democracy in America A Decimated System
Let’s be clear. America is not a Democracy. With or without Trump. Trump and his insane ideas on autocracy do not mean democracy is in jeopardy. There is no democracy to put in danger in the first place.
Democracy is one person, one vote. The electoral college favors a very few rather than stabilizing fairness. It is an obsolete idea that gives equal power to Wyoming with a population of 584,000 as California with 39,200,000. That not only is not democracy but is an insane variable. Our system and nation are riddled with like variables that are not remotely associated with democracy.
1,700 voting places have been closed since the voting rights act was shut down in 2013. In Georgia you will be arrested if you give water to someone who as been waiting all day to vote. Rules that make voting difficult are rampant. Mainly to restrict black participation and assist in causing white rule.
Gerrymandering alone reduces our attempts at democracy to a blatant sham. Then you have the creeping incremental deterioration of democratic rule in state after state slowly transforming the nature of the system until it is no longer recognizable as a serious democratic pursuit.
Democracy itself is the finest rule you could possibly have. Again, we do not have it. We are not a democracy. One item alone destroyed our efforts. One item alone prevented systemic fairness and integrity. One item alone made democracy, impossible. One item alone ruined the hope of America. One item alone, that when its ripples are traced may well destroy mankind. That one thing is ‘BRIBERY.’ Our system is riddled with this quality sucking political evil. We are steeped in the scummy results. We are governed by political leeches.
These discrepancies did not begin with Trump. Trump exposed our poisoned underbelly and severely exacerbated the already extremely low quality of the Republican party. Today’s Republicans are a tragic American disgrace. Nothing matters to them but themselves. Body parts in Ukraine, the plight of pregnant raped children, even the pursuit of democracy itself does not matter. They have drawn large numbers of the dispassionate and those whose humanity is diminished or incorrectly formed, causing pure selfish rule.
And to be clear. Democrats are also infected. They receive the same bribes. They as well, did not begin with Trump. They were exposed by Trump. He showed how little the plight of 332 million of us mattered when measured against our House of Representatives and Senators keeping their one person jobs. Be sure that if a corrupt leader with party support arose within the democratic party, most would desert our interests to protect themselves. That is the element that bribery draws regardless of party. As heroes die on battlefields, patriotism is dead in American leadership. 332 million do not matter. We are led by an unsavory waste of our people, drawn to leadership by distorted self-adulation and bribery. A few that sacrifice all of us.
America evolved into a system that today siphons the bounty and earnings of our land away from the masses. This is a systemic problem. Our system sucks the quality of life away from the masses and redirects it to a very few who have found the cracks in our system that our bounty would pass through.
And their politics is about keeping those cracks in place as the quality of life for our people degrades and they live luxury without limit. The American system is designed to “appear” democratic so you think you have a say in what is happening when you do not. What amazes me is belief that if your party wins things may change in your favor. Nothing will change for you unless you are very wealthy. Absurd wealth, has been the beneficiary of our sham politicians. Not you.
The bastards that run the show are so good at it, it is very likely you never heard of the name of the form of Government you live under. America is a “Plutarchy.” That is the systems of oligarchy and plutocracy at the same time.
An oligarchy is government by the “few.” It is defined as a small group of people ruling the country. The wealthy along with a chosen wealthy few such as Royalty or our House and Senate. In America, no matter who is elected they will cater to the wealthy that bribed them. Plutocracy is government by the rich or the wealthy class. Obviously, the wealthy can often buy power. If oligarchy tendency occurs at the same time as plutocracy, this is a PLUTARCHY.
Regardless of the terms, and the words, and the efforts to describe the system, the result is not democracy. It is government in the interest of wealth and their desires, not justice, not equality, and not the people. Too many of us have bought in. Too many have been successfully manipulated. And not enough weep to cause change. Our way of life is in very grave danger.
